Home Additions and Remodels

An addition or remodel changes how water leaves your roof. A new roof section can send more water into an existing gutter than it was built to carry, or leave a new corner with no gutter at all. We install seamless gutters on the new section and tie them into your existing system where it makes sense. If an existing downspout can’t handle the added roof area, we add a downspout rather than overload the old one.

We also match the new gutters to the main house in profile and color, so the addition looks like it was always part of the home. Before we finish, we check where each downspout will drain, so water from the new section doesn’t end up at your foundation, a patio slab or a walkway.

Garages, ADUs, and Detached Structures

Garages, ADUs, patio covers and backyard buildings need their own gutters and downspouts. Without them, water sheets off the roof edge onto slabs, entry steps and the ground around the new foundation.
